When I read this quote from Maya Angelou, it occurred to me that all of my heroines are doing this: living in an unending process of believing that she and her values and choices are important. This is a process in my own life. The world wants us to have it’s values and choices, but it is vital we each know and stand by our own. This is living our lives with faith in who God has made us to be.
