Congratulations to MandolinSummer and Mary Lou Jameson! They are the two winners of the drawing for Once Upon A Christmas. A number of you have said you already bought the book. I am very honored that you chose it out of the millions available and hope it gives you pleasure.

Do let’s hear what everyone is reading. I was about to read Fannie Flagg’s latest, but this morning I saw a red bird stop on one of the pickets of the fence around the courtyard, and it  reminded me of Flagg’s Redbird Christmas, so I think I’ll re-read it first.

Grace and peace to all.

  1. Just finished Fannie Flaggs new book. It is excellent. I have to say that I always get the audio version as well because I just love hearing Fannie read with her vocal inflections. Her voice makes me laugh! Particularly how she vocalizes “Winged Victory” in this story. Not to mention the life she breathes into women pilots during the war.
I think you will enjoy it!
    Have a wonderful day.

  4. Oh, wow, thank you SO MUCH!!!!! What a lovely gift. As soon as I finish Edward Rutherford’s Paris (only 20% of the tome left to go according to my Kindle), this will definitely be the book I pick up!! Thank you again, my friend.
