Being Old South

This explains me and my writing, and pretty much the tendencies of my entire family:

“In the South, perhaps more than any other region, we go back to our home in dreams and memories, hoping it remains what it was on a lazy, still summer’s day twenty years ago.” ~Willie Morris

I came across this wonderful site– my very favorite short story by Eudora Welty, Why I live at the P.O.. Enjoy!

Thoughts? Don't keep them to yourself. Love to hear!
