Monday, and anything can be

Pitch dark when I stepped out on the porch this morning. Warm and sultry–still ‘barefootin’ weather– but with a hint of cooling fall. Breezes come far up in the tall pecan trees. They come like a wave, like groups of angels flying along, gently brushing and stirring the leaves at the tops of the trees. I get bits of breeze on my bare toes, like left overs treats. The crickets are singing their chorus, the courtyard ponds bubbling theirs, a bird giving a hesitant twitter, and oh, there’s that “Twit-Twit” bird. It’s pretty darn noisy. My world at this moment, with me here, a computer on my lap. What a hoot!

It’s Monday, and I love Monday. I’m always rested and ready for doing. Monday is a doing day. I think on Monday that I have energy to dream, to leave regrets behind, and fears, and to step out with hope and faith in all I want to do. I think it would be helpful to remember Monday all through the week, and believe so much is possible.

Ohmygosh, I just looked up beyond the pecan tree, and there is blue sky, with pale pink fluffy clouds. Maybe this Monday it will be clear skies, and I can get mowing done. And a full chapter written in my book project. Monday marks the beginning of a week, and anything is possible in the days ahead. A good day for making goals.

God bless us all!
