I don’t know if you need this, but I sure do. My normal lovely Monday has somehow gone all haywire-flooey. Don’t you just love that combination of words: haywire-flooey? Somehow saying it lightens me. I’ve felt run over flat by so many things to do piling up on me– and the writing I had planned gets pushed and shoved further away. Then I write haywire-flooey, a very old saying heard from my grandmother, and I begin to pick myself up.
So then–Starting Monday out right…
Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left. ~Isaiah 30:21, NLT
Dear God, I listen and trust that even my small everyday steps are divinely directed, one step at a time. After all, I was provided with haywire-flooey. I am provided for every step of the way. Thank you. Amen.
Strength just comes in one brand – you. Stand up at sunrise and meet what they send you and keep your hair combed ~Reynolds Price
There now, Monday is being set on track. Well, maybe it remains a little haywire-flooey, but we meet what is sent, and with a good presence.
Blessings for a great week ahead,
